What is Trouvaille?

Trouvaille is free online travel app can help you build a personalized sightseeing itinerary for your vacation. You can download our app “Trouvaille” in play store or app store.

To plan with Trouvaille, you tell it where you’re going, your dates, and your sightseeing preferences. Within seconds, you’ll receive a detailed sightseeing itinerary. The software provides a complete set of tools and recommendations so you can research the destination and make any desired changes to the itinerary. You can add co-travelers so they can edit the plan with you or just stay informed. If you want to ask friends for advice on the itinerary, you can do so.

Trouvaille”s trip-planning features also include an easy and convenient system for booking accommodation, transportation, and activities. We will help you find the best deals for hotels, travel, and activities because we work with the best providers. Once you have settled on the itinerary and made your bookings, you can take your plan with you on the trip.

How does Trouvaille work?

Trouvaille collects and maintains detailed data from across the web on big cities and small towns in Bhutan. It uses state-of-the-art patent-pending technology to evaluate thousands of logistical possibilities to create a personalized itinerary that best fits your specific needs. The itinerary takes into account factors such as open-close hours, travel time, seasonality, and many more. Our recommendations are unbiased and can save you hours of tedious research and result in a better plan.

Which destinations does Trouvaille cover?

Trouvaille for now only cover for cities and small towns in Bhutan. Trouvaille can help you plan what to see and do in Bhutan. In future, we will add on other popular destinations in the world. If you would like to suggest any destinations, please let us know through your feedback.

Why should I create an account?

If you have an account, Trouvaille automatically saves any plan you create while logged in. You can then access your plans from other computers and mobile devices. When you’re signed in, you can also collaborate on your plans with other

Do I need a travel insurance?

While travel insurance is not required, we highly recommend that you purchase a comprehensive travel insurance policy prior to departure to protect your travel purchases.  At this time, Trouvaille does not offer travel insurance, however our products can be covered under various independent insurance programs.

If you do purchase travel insurance, please review your policy carefully for specific terms and conditions.

Can I book an activity in different currency?

Yes, and it’s easy to do! To change the currency on Trouvaille app, scroll to the bottom of the page where you will see a box for language and a box for currency.  Simply click the currency box and select a new currency from the drop-down menu.  The currency can be changed this way any time up until checkout. 

TIP: If you book in a different currency than your credit card, your bank may charge you a currency conversion fee. This fee is generally per transaction, so you may be charged twice if you request a refund later. Check with your bank about their policy before booking.

Do you offer special pricing for children, student or seniors?

Many of our tours do!

When you’ve selected a tour, look under the box that lists the price for the tour and you will see booking options listed. If the only option listed is ‘Adult’ then everyone who takes this tour will be charged the same rate.

Is my credit card safe?

Your credit card number and personal information are encrypted for transmission using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL).

Trouvaille never stores your credit card information and complies with the highest standard of PCI (payment card industry) compliance.

How do I check availability?

You can check availability at any time by beginning the reservation process. Don’t worry, you won’t be committed to your reservation until after you’ve entered your credit card details and confirm the purchase!

For tours where we still need to wait for confirmation, the date will show available if the tour operator is operating on that date, but we can’t guarantee availability until you receive your confirmation e-mail.

TIP: Even though the dates show available, we can never be sure how much availability is left. Always book as soon as possible to lock in your dates

How can I specify any special requests/needs?

If you need any special considerations and have already made your reservation, please contact the tour operator directly using the contact information located under the Important Info section on your Ticket.

We can’t guarantee all special requests will be able to be fulfilled – but our suppliers do always try their hardest to help!
